Love

May this note about God's Love be a blessing to  everyone.

Love is the attribute of God that means the most to humanity.If God did not love HIS creations, HE would surely have disposed of us long ago in favor of a better model.As I read through the Bible I come across many instances of mankind's failures. Each time God's love and patience are tested but HE keeps working with us.

John tells us that "God is love." (1 John 4:8)Love is God's nature. How much does God love the world?
"For God so love the world so much that HE gave His only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in HIM may not die but have eternal life."(John 3:16)
The Greek language has a word for this kind of love,
"agape"- the Love of Christ our Lord for mankind. Self
giving loyal concern that freely accepts another and seeks his/her good.

God loved His chosen people. Beginning with Abraham, He watched over the Israelites throughout their generations. "The Lord did not love you and choose you because you outnumbered other peoples;
you were the smallest nation on earth. But the Lord loved you and wanted to keep the promise that He made to your ancestors. That is why He saved you by His great might and set you free from slavery to the king of Egypt."( Deut.7:7-8)
God chose Abraham to start a special nation that would be God's own and from which He would bring HIS Son into the world.

John also tells us "Let us love one another, because love comes from God."(1 John 4:7) God expects us to show love towards each other. He also expects that we will love HIM totally. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength." (Deut. 6:5) Jesus repeated this as a commandment when challenged by the Pharisees. They tried to trap Jesus and asked HIM " Which is the greatest commandment in the law?" (Matthew 22:36)

Jesus responded with the Word," Love the Lord your God with all you heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important commandment. The second most important commandment is like it; Love your neighbor as you love yourself."( Matthew 22:37-39) He was only quoting the Scriptures that these Pharisees would have been very familiar with, Deuteronomy 6:5 and Leviticus 19:18. Jesus did not change the law;He fulfilled it. His saying about love were not new, only His emphasis was new.

We cannot create Love.It is a gift from God to us." For God has poured out His love into our hearts by means of the Holy Spirit, who is God's gift to us." ( Romans 5:5) "The Spirit produces love, joy,peace, patience,kindness,goodness,faithfulness, humility and self-control."(Galatians 5:22-23)

Jesus said the love was a sign of HIS followers." if you have love from one another, then everyone will know that you are my disciples." (John 13:35)
Jesus said,"Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may become the children of Father in Heaven."(Matthew 5:43-45)

It was the Apostle John who wrote extensively on the word love and what it means for the believer. " Do not love the world or anything that belongs to the world,If you love the world you do not love the Father."(1 John 2:15) God does not honor divided loyalties. He wants first place in our hearts. In 1 Timothy 6:10, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
There is nothing wrong with money,only the love of money.

John's emphasis continues with "We love because God first loved us. If we say we love God and hate others,we are liars. For we cannot love God whom we have not seen, if we do not love others  whom we have seen." (1 John 4:19-20) We act out our love for God by showing love to those around us. That is how He wants us to use the love He has given to us; by helping those we come in contact with our everyday life.

A Prayer To Change Your Heart

Most Precious Lord Jesus…
Gentle And Wonderful God…
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit…
In my grief, be with me and change my heart.
In my anger, be with me and change my heart.
In my pain, be with me and change my heart.
In my doubt, be with me and change my heart.
In my wrongful passions, be with me and change my heart.
I despise all my dark emotions so change me into your likeness.
Change me into your likeness so I may walk in your joy.
Change me into your likeness so I may walk in your peace.
Change me into your likeness so I may walk in your serenity.
Change me into your likeness so I may walk in your certainty.
Change me into your likeness so I may walk in your righteousness and holiness.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
Amen.

Thank You Father!

Oh Father You are Great! Thank You so much for giving me another chance. Thank You so much for forgiving me, and trusting me. Thank You so much for setting me free in the second time. Thank You so much for YOU have answered my prayer. Thank You so much for giving me a chance to serve You. Oh Father, my heart is full of joy! You know my heart desire. For it is true that whoever says to his mountain, ' Be removed, and be cast into the sea', without any doubts in his heart, he will receive what he is praying for. For I am a living testimony for Your Word and promises, love and salvation.
Father, I want to offer my life unto YOU. Without condemnation in my heart, without hesitation, I will serve you and give the best out of me. For YOU are the author of my life, and everything that is in me is YOU. I turned away from my sin Lord, I choose to follow YOU and live like how You live. Father thank you. Thank You for your grace Lord, that made me strong. Thank You for Your Holy Word that guide me to my inheritance as Your daughter. Thank You for giving me wisdom and understanding. Thank You for the air that I breathe, for everything that You have done in my life. You are my God, and My Saviour. And I will declare that You alone, No other Name but the Name of JESUS!
Thanks God I'm FREE.

Can you imagine a day without God? Because I cant.
Everything that in me is in Christ. How great is HE that never charge us for the air that we breathe.
How marvelous! How wonderful!
Oh Jesus Christ! You are amazing. You are Great God.

Who is HE?

 God has promised He will never leave us nor forsake us.

 In Christ, God has revealed His faithfulness to us.

 From the beginning of time...

 In Genesis, Jesus is the Ram at Abraham's Altar.

 In Exodus, He is the passover lamp.

 In Leviticus, He is the High Priest.

 In Numbers, He is the cloud by day and pillar of fire by night.

 In Deuteronomy, He is the city of refuge.

 In Joshua, He's the scarlet thread out Rahab's window.

 In Judges, He is our Judge.

 In Ruth, He is our Kinsman redeemer.

 In the 1st and 2nd Samuel, He is our trusted Prophet.

 In Kings and Chronicles, He is our reigning King!

 In Ezra, He is our faithful scribe.

 In Nehemiah, He is the rebuilder of everything that is broken.

 In  Esther, He is the Mordecai sitting faithful at the gate.

 In Joel, He is our Redeemer that ever liveth.

 In Psalms, He is My Shepherd and I shall not want.

 In Proverbs, and Ecclesiastes, He is our wisdom.

 and in the Song of Solomon, He's the beautiful bride-groom.

 In Isaiah, He is the suffering servant.

 In Jeremiah and lamentations, It is JESUS that is the weeping prophet.

 In  Ezekiel, He is the wonderful thorough faced man.

 and  in Daniel, He is the fourth man in the midst of a fire inferns.

 In Hosea, He is my love that is forever faithful.

 In Joel, He baptizes  us with the Holy Spirit.

 And In Amos, He's our burden bearer.

 In Obadiah, He is our Saviour.

 In Jonah, He is the Great Foreign Missionary that takes the Word of God into all of the world.

 In Micah, He is the messenger with beautiful feet.

 In Nahum, He is the Avenger.

 In Habakuk, He is the watchman thats ever praying for revival.

 In Zephaniah, He is the LORD Mighty to save.

 In Hagai, He is the restorer of our lost heritage.

 In Zechariah, He is our fountain.

 and in Malachi, He is the Son of Righteousness with Healing on His wings.

 In Matthew, Thou art the Christ, The Son of the Living God.

 In Mark, He is the miracle worker.

 In Luke, He is the Son of man.

 and in John, He is the door by which everyone of us must enter.

 In Acts, He is the shining light that appears to us all on the road to Damascus.

 In Romans, He is our Justifier.

 In 1st Corinthians, A resurrection.

 In 2nd Corinthians, Our sin bearer.

 In Galatians, He redeem us from the law.

 In Ephesians, He is our unsearchable riches.

 In Philippians, He supply our every need.

 and in Colossians, He is the fullness of God-Head bodily.

 In 1st and 2nd Thessalonians, He is our soon and coming King.

 In 1st and 2nd Timothy, He is the Mediator between God and Man.

 In Titus, He is our blessed hope.

 In Philemon, He is a friend that sticks closer more than a brother.

 and in Hebrews, He is the blood of the everlasting covenant.

 In James, It is the LORD that heals the sick.

 In 1st and 2nd Peter, He is the Chief Shepherd.

 In 1st, 2nd and in 3rd John, It is Jesus who has the tenderness of LOVE<3

 In Jude, He is the Lord coming with ten thousand Saints.

 and in Revelation,

 Lift up your eyes, Church!

 For your redemption joy of life,

 He is KING OG KINGS!

 And Lord of Lords!

What an awesome God we serve!
